About the Cox in the Community Fundraising Program
What is Cox in the Community Program?
The Cox in the Community fundraising program is designed to help community-based groups raise needed funds for their organizations. Here’s how the program works:
· To start, organization leaders all receive a Cox kit with information for distribution to members
· For every new service sold to a new or existing customer by members, the organization gets $25
· Up to $75 per new Cox subscriber can be earned
The program runs from September 7, 2009 through February 28, 2010
Who can participate?
The program is open to community-based, grass roots organizations such as civic leagues, PTAs/school organizations, sports leagues and other community organizations within the Hampton Roads region.
When will the program start? When will it end?
The program will start September 7, 2009 and will end February 28, 2010.
How can an organization participate?
To participate in the fundraising program, call (757) 222-8393 and request a kit. The kit will provide information on how your members can help raise funds for your group. You may also request for a speaker who can review the program with your group.
How much can an organization earn from this?
Organizations can get up to $75 for each new subscriber obtained by its members.
When will the organization get the reward?
Cox will disseminate fund raising proceeds to all participating organizations via check by March 31, 2010.

Cox has been very engaged and active in the Hampton Roads region for more than 30 years. This program is just one more way for that Cox is giving back to the community and getting involved.
