Another talent-filled evening at the Venue on 35th Street…and meet our new host Channing Tyner! The format is changing a bit, we now include short interviews with some of the performers, as well as give you a taste of what the venue is like. Check it out!

Open Mic is a new weekly half hour television show produced by the Cox Virginia Creative Services team.

Each episode features several unplugged performances from area talent. The focus is on amateurs in the area that just do this type of thing for the sheer joy of it, and perform in local venues. Everything from acoustic guitar and singer performances to standup comedy, magicians and poetry readings will be included in each episode. Open Mic looks to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent that can be found within our borders, enabling local talent the chance to shine.

Have a talent that you feel we should spotlight? Do you have good quality video of your talent? Go to our CONTACT US page and send us a link! You just might find yourself featured in a future episode!
