Cox Launches New On DEMAND Experience

Service Offers New On Screen Interface for Faster and Easier Navigation

CHESAPEAKE , VA – Cox Communications is making it even easier for customers to enjoy all that On DEMAND has to offer with an upgrade to the on screen interface. The new interface provides faster and simpler navigation for Cox Digital Cable customers as they access the thousands of choices available in the On DEMAND library. The On DEMAND updates from Cox are free-of-charge and available immediately to Digital Cable subscribers.

"Our goal with this upgrade is to provide customers with an even more attractive, fast and intuitive On DEMAND experience," said Chris Pantoya Vice President of Marketing. "The features make navigation easy, particularly since there is much more programming to see."

The overall performance is much faster and more user-friendly. The upgrades include several enhancements to the usability of the Cox On DEMAND service:

Horizontal scrolling provides quicker navigation through folders 'Skip' functions allow the user to skip forward or backward in 15-minute intervals while fast-forwarding or rewinding Movie previews are available directly from a folder's main menu Jump back 10 seconds with the new Instant Replay function Access On DEMAND programming from channel 1 or 1000

Along with these new features, Cox is also adding more choices to FreeZone, more HD content and more Movies On DEMAND, including movies that are available on the same day as DVD release. On DEMAND from Cox offers thousands of titles available any time. This includes hit series, premium channel content and hundreds of new releases, HD and free movies.
